I was raised in a culture that I admire to death But the more I see the business side I just desire it less Wired and stressed, nowhere near retirement yet But I hope that even If I fail I still inspire success It still really amazes how my feelings embraces One critique as if it outweighs a million praises (Yeah) I heard I can be the next this person, but firstly I aint tryna be the next nobody but be the first me Never smoked much cuz when my dad was provoked You'll hear his liquor was much louder than any bag that we smoked So I'm on the 10 I'm headed to Wheaton right off the redline Like it was denied loans for being behind said line Every stop is familiar, every block to the stone Chopped Peruvian chicken with the yellow sauce to the bone Then I'm back on Ferrara Drive and I'm lost in a zone Thinkin man, this will always be home This will always be home This will always be home See home is where the heart is So whether I'm far or I'm departed Just know that Ima always be home Ima always be home Ima always be home See home is where the heart is So whether I'm far or I'm departed Just know that Ima always be home Dream so far so you go far away Dream so hard no time for holiday Dream so far so you go far away When I seem lost, I think of how far I came From Ferrara Drive This is where is started, youngins lunchin and party Where the past seeds were planted to the prep for the coming harvest And know its fairly guarded cuz home is where the heart is Letting go was always hard, but home is where it's hardest Its time the big fish go find a larger pool The larger it grows in its pond it'll probably have a smaller view But a monster do belong in bigger bodies of water Brought em lobotomy bars in his body bags and a bottle too It got him through everything, as he tracks along upon the path he's on Traveling fast, he's passing his past, a vagabond Who has a song, singing it mad until the crack of dawn He doesn't have much but he just wants to have it passed along And let it transpire No internet glitch, just a myth, a story around the campfire A mans wired to survive til his death But a legend lives on forever pass the time that he left Word Up Ima always be home Ima always be home See home is where the heart is So whether I'm far or I'm departed Just know that Ima always be home

Hold Up 03:08
While your heads just above water, struggling to see land Each hand tryna reach for the beach sand While I be swimming, back stroking in the deep end If they wanna sleep then Ima let em sleep in See your alarm ain't have its timer on You the type thats envious of who the shine is on You smiling in their face, but by the time they're gone You're airing out their dirty laundry but inside you wanna try it on You big heated while I cop a bottle chilled After locking in a deal The process made a lot of profit, whole time you caught up in the thrills So now you cuttin corners tryna snort up all the hard to swallow pills You too concerned with people who ain't worth a jack There's words that needed furnishing but no one even heard word of that You had a light but didn't cherish it until it turned to black And only time you turn to God is when he turns his back Hold up! Game don't play You think you can play your way? I said wait a minute, hold up! Day by day Listen to the game I say I said wait a minute, hold up! Play your way You ain't gonna play one day I said wait a minute, hold up! Pave yo way But you better stay in yo lane The root of all evil is found in every solid foundation Its why you got a crown or why you got your crown taken Spot light is hotter now ain't it? Money isn't buying happiness but it's a solid down payment Gotta lock a smile when you spot a clown hatin Cuz thats expected like a spotted Dalmatian That's why I got the chopper out large as a crocodiles mouth with a lot of rounds waiting, whos up? Better watch ya tongue before it swell your lips Cuz you don't know who ain't the one to be messin with Fuck around and face a drum with a steady grip While you try stickin to your guns with an empty clip So never be too cocky and see you check your ego You can have the hawk but then he could have the eagle Take the words to heart like its squeezed inside a needle Just tryna do my part and spread the steez to all my people Hold up! Game don't play You think you can play your way? I said wait a minute, hold up! Day by day Listen to the game I say I said wait a minute, hold up! Play your way You ain't gonna play one day I said wait a minute, hold up! Pave yo way But you better stay in yo lane This is soul food, like a whole food for soul with some Soju from Seoul Your produce will grow unless there's foes to your goal If you don't want beef then be hopeful that you can take your tofu to go So go for the gold, take a shot for the kill If you grown then you know, if you not then you will So Ima let you go with something Be real, be chill, and remember no one owes you nothin Hold up! Game don't play You think you can play your way? I said wait a minute, hold up! Day by day Listen to the game I say I said wait a minute, hold up! Play your way You ain't gonna play one day I said wait a minute, hold up! Pave yo way But you better stay in yo lane

I've had my ups, I've had my downs From toasts to poured liquor, yeah I've had my rounds I've been lost a few times but I'm glad I'm found But don't jump the gun like I wouldn't grab mine now I'm just a man, to protect and provide With a predators drive to get his prey or let competitors try Go head and send them in like 10 at a time Against a vet at his prime at a level you ain't ready to climb, nah So pick your battles the war could be living on When you get that gut feeling in it normally isn't wrong You can see the fat lady come over to sing a song And when it's time to face the music, I know just to sing along That's why when it's time to fall down, some sing But when some of them are scared of the ground, some cling Don't be fascinated or wowed from bling When I drop gems, it adds to your crown, young king So hold it, you can hold your own right? Kings in our own right even in places where we don't own rights Blinded by their own light Even how we see things, we can still be blinded by our own sight All about perspective on the way that it is I don't care no more and hate the days that I did Give and take is the way that I live So I ain't gotta take shit from no one if there any to give So I'd pray and go to mass for the faith with hopes to last I didn't have the bread but I still paid to go to class The days I'm low on cash, a phase I'd hope to pass So only time I'd window shop is to replace this broken glass, yeah I tried to act like a winner to get my own win Til I figured I'm more comfortable in my own skin I thought it works if you tried but it doesn't See being real means admitting to the times that I wasn't See its only the weak that needs to be coddled If this is something you need, you need to be remodeled So face adversity, not some cheap bottle Stand for something you believe in even if your knees wobble Many fought to stay away from the hands of death But have you fought the thought of thinking it's the only answer left? Those who've always stayed afloat could never handle depth The hand your dealt is all you got to gamble with so plan your bets The game is greedy, it enslaves you You'll find blood on your hands that spilled on your suedes and on your chain too I want a chain but that same chain can restrain you From being great through the way folks in their graves has paved you So I ain't living like some stick in the mud And I don't let the bullshit stick around it's nipped in the bud Family or not just dip if you ain't given me love Blood is thicker than water but a bond is thicker than blood I love my people but I've had struggles with loving me Always setting these standards that hovers above my reach Succumbed to some hungry need to becoming what wasn't me Even misery doesn't wanna accompany what it sees Its a fight and we're dumped in the ring See pressure makes diamonds but the pressure's not a comfortable thing It'll push you to edge like you a sucka or king? But when push comes to shove I say fuck it and swing Don't let the negativity knock you off of your chakra It could make you feel like a cause is lost and it stops ya Or gets you going like you start poppin off with the choppers Just knock it off of the top before all of your thoughts get darker It's riveting but limiting too Don't let nobody in and put a limit on you Keep going them rounds and only time that you should throw in the towel is when it's something you can't physically do

It was up the street, a hub just for us to meet Nothin big, it was just the peeps Car doors open, we was bumping beats Bumper sipping, gettin buzzed, lunchin, son the least we'd come with would be a dozen deep Milwaukees 'beast' with some cheaper bottles too If some females hopping through then we'd just lead em on the roof Sharing stories, talking bout the dreams we wanna do We'd just kick it, spark a jack and you'll hear people calling "Deuce!" Til shorty picked who she would leave with On cold days we would roast each other until one of us was heated It wasn't something that would cut the hunger but it eased it To some its something mean, to us its something that we needed Just for the camaraderie part And though the barking was harsh, its where the bonding would start It was the center of our neighborhood, it has a place in all of our hearts (And its pretty) See every city needs a Holiday Park We laugh, we cry Dedicate and celebrate moments in our life We fuss, we fight Shoot the breeze to get away And though years have came and gone It still holds a place in our heart Holiday Park, Holiday Park, Holiday Its just a single building with an open lot Theres no special reason why we chose it, its the closest spot A block over so we'd go and walk Smoking, then going toe to toe with shots, whether it was cold or hot Rollin if we noticed cops, a lot of us has caught offenses Everything was thrown or dropped, as we started hopping fences Fresh blunts that we threw in the wind We'd laugh it off just to come back and do it again Freestylin' in the car as we'd take more hits Before that we used to bring cans to paint on shit Further back we'd meet there to work on skateboard tricks With poor choices, the memories were made more rich But then we all have to grow up and life would get to start Some folks remain close while others would drift apart It hits the heart when you miss it but it hits the mark Shit is different now, it's empty when I hit the park We laugh, we cry Dedicate and celebrate moments in our life We fuss, we fight Shoot the breeze to get away And though years have came and gone It still holds a place in our heart Holiday Park, Holiday Park, Holiday Rest in peace to those who passed and hold ya head to those whose in a cell If we were ever indifferent for real I wish you well And I gots to pray for those who might've lost their way Even if we haven't spoke in years or if we talked today Remember when we had fun, yeah we'd clash some But there was nothing that we couldn't come back from A quick chat or scrap and that's done And it was back to laughs, 30 packs, and jacks in every snack run To Holiday Park

Ten Years 04:45
It's been 10 years since you left us You fought the good fight and you ain't rest much We received the best of all their blessings and the best lucks But it was a mess leaving the hospital cuz we left crushed When fate came in and trashed our hopes Dad was broken, I know you and dad were close The episodes he had after, the packs he smoked And though we were all sad, it hit dad the most It was a trip to look into his sad eyes It was the first time I ever seen Dad cry Family arguing over bullshit, what happened was that But Dad had a heart attack a little after you passed He's fine now but Im telling you though, you should see it You know Dad quit smoking right? Could you believe it? He adjusted his life down to the food he's eating Still boozes but he doesn't lose it like he use to, he's a new human being After everything he managed to change Heh, You'd be proud of the man he became And Mom's been ok for coming out of dysfunction But her and Dad split and lost the house we grew up in Dad's with our aunt, Mom's in a place of her own Barely gettin by, I know you probably hate she's alone But I moved to LA, I'm here chasing my goals But if we moved back, we wouldn't have a place to call home They say you can visit dreams, is it true? When I see you in my dreams, is it you? It's like nothing ever happened, we just lunchin and we laughing and to wake up wasn't easy to do Can you leave me a clue? Please cuz I need to see a sign And knowing you're at peace will give me peace of mind On my knees tryna find the pieces but I needed time Regretting everyday the decision I made to leave your side Always in bed cuz your body was weak You weren't making any sense when you started to speak It was the hardest to peep, you once stopped me as I started to leave You just said "I love you David" before falling asleep It was like you tried your hardest and you fought the disease To be free of it for a moment to be conscious with me Acknowledging that tomorrow isn't promised to see And I couldn't be strong for you when you were strongest for me But things worsened when you were in the ICU In a coma, feeling dread when I see you I was there everyday, while visitors came and go The feeling I held inside was what everyone's face would show A miracle developed, a flower from a cement crack Your eyes opened, a blessing that God has sent back To see your folks and converse with em first Before it all starts to swerve and make a turn for the worse Seeing struggle in your eyes, hoping the doc could do something You were lookin at us for help but we couldn't do nothing Feeling helpless on top of the fact I'll grieve I couldn't be in there no more, I left, man I had to leave My weaknesses need to hide inside a pint of that jack And you were gone by the time I came back And that, just devours me man No matter how I tried to justify it, I was a coward and ran What were you thinking when you ain't see your brother there? I really hope you didn't think it's cuz he doesn't care He was being really selfish getting drunk somewhere Cuz he ain't ever lose somebody that close he was fucking scared I cried writing this, I tried fighting it That guy in the mirror's the guy who I'm fighting with And every hit feel like a strike from Mike Tyson's fists I can't hide it, its time I shine light on this We used to fight all the time, and that was nothing new It never mattered why we fought cuz that's what brothers do I wish we could have one last walk One last heart to heart and have one last talk Then have one last laugh and have one last shot One last hug before you make your one last stop So speaking for myself, your family and friends here We still love you and miss you bro, even after 10 years

Make something for the club! Am I supposed to? Why make music for places I don't ever go to I like to tell stories of different things I would go through And if you can relate, its sole purpose is to console you This is for the young lady with her broken heart in her palms Too young to know that part'll be gone, but replaced with something better For the young king who don't notice the crown on his dome Cuz he's always busy looking down at his phone Comparing highlights of everyone's high life to the doubts of his own Feeling out of it, out of his zone But this a bit of courage when you wanna run for the hills This is for that type of pain only good company heals This that long drive for clearing your mind and your thoughts That time that you got to yourself where time would just stop This that background noise you don't pay attention to But somehow it helps get you through whatever it is you getting through I'm a little stronger today I'm a little different now From the way I used to be Cuz of all the pain I found This is our life, it's real, what you feel Let it guide you back to yourself and let you heal This that hand to help guide you when you lost rhythm This is for that person you lost and that piece of yourself that you lost with them This that peace you feel when you realize that Gods wit em now Lookin down at the squad chillin For those 'I love you's' we never got to say So if you haven't already then you should call today Don't let a long lifetime of regret be caused by a small delay Cuz there's so much you gotta do, and you're always on your way Somewhere, but someone wants to catch up some time So put aside some time just one time, In the confines of good food and sunshine, this for that one try After you thought you'd give up, but once I Move on, I feel like i got little control back This is that food for the soul, but with a soul clap This is that moment with your child before they grow fast This is for every pain you've grown pass Healer I'm a little stronger today I'm a little different now From the way I used to be Cuz of all the pain I found This is our life, it's real, what you feel Let it guide you back to yourself and let you heal

The Edge 02:48
Tomorrow be a new day but today be a new me Turning a new leaf, letting fumes from the loose leaf loose Shooting like uzis, putting holes through this smooth beat Ain't nothing too deep that we cant handle two deep Me and Dee Miinor with exclusives like a news leak Newsweek wouldn't cover a cold kid unless their views peaked Make a few beefs seem bigger to sell a huge piece Truth is peeps need truces I'm talking true peace That's the last straw so before you use it for Mai Thai's Here's a fine rye made of my rhymes advised by Cyhi The Prince with a pinch of 5'9 The sky's the limit, the building is where we would draw the sky line Fast rappers packing all these words in a frame I make a point and I don't need that many words to explain That happiness is the result when you can learn from your pain Cuz things look better in the sun when it emerges from rain This is all I know and this is how I'm fed Tryna get the edge off living on the edge Knocking all these heads off tryna get ahead Letting myself get lost and this is where it's lead The top of my game (With everybody) Calling my name (And everybody) Got it engrained I'm at the edge of the top And have the baddest chick in the game rockin my chain, yeah You wanna make your moves but I'm tryna make a movement move If your movement isn't bout making mula than too da loo I do what only few can do And since I only do me I don't really care bout who is who What he does or who he knew Gotta bad chick that cook catfish on my dinner plate You get wack shit and book catfish on your tinder dates But I've been there before, I'll confess to it first Til I shifted focus on my hunger and less on my thirst The hustle don't ever stop, no concession stands and no interlude Cuz with these kinda bars we serving liquor with prison food Its wicked, it kick like a 50 caliber into you And If you want it just tell me where you want it delivered to Your clique ain't shit when the click of a pistol triggers you And I used to be so despicable But I'd rather have did it and wish i didn't than sit on the things I didn't do Cuz I could burn a bridge but rebuild it to its initial route But bigger, better, architecture interstellar, pretty like pre midnight Cinderella we got figures fellas can not divide, like a prime digit I live it like to live your truth or lay in your lies and die in it And If you last it be at a cost, its out of pocket, catastrophic Its like what the rapture and what the wrath of God is It isn't logical taking this path with rap but its pathologic It's rabid and nothing that's in its path could stop it This is all I know and this is how I'm fed Tryna get the edge off living on the edge Knocking all these heads off tryna get ahead Letting myself get lost and this is where it's lead The top of my game (With everybody) Calling my name (And everybody) Got it engrained I'm at the edge of the top And have the baddest chick in the game rockin my chain, yeah

I ain't politically correct I'm in to giving Individual respect Whether you're into this or whether you're into that role Believe what you believe in as long as you ain't an asshole Cuz people talk and conviction is strong Til they're confronted with facts and cant admit that they wrong But they stick to your guns so respect is instantly gone Cuz they listen to the beat but not to what I spit in a song You ain't got the facts but try to act smarter Now you looking like an ass and we laugh harder So we can't hear what you saying, you breaking up like a bad partner There's no baby around, it's just the bath water For your kool aid and righteous intent Its why you lost both your sight and you sense Accelerating all the things that we tryna prevent And lose the fight by turning into the monsters that you fighting against Who's wrong? Who's right to decide it? My heart, my mind won't silence You try, you fight, but I will survive Where do we go from here? Everybody's arguing, itching to get it on Cuz you cant live with certain opinions considered wrong I might be showing my age, but back in my day people with different opinions could get along At this point a civil discussion is past due But it seems that civil discussions are taboo Sticks and stones break bones but now words are loaded weapons They'll jump the gun when they triggered by a loaded question And try burning the bridge and knock it down Over differences rather than build on common ground Cancel culture mobs are formed from different victim rallies Going from being triggered to trigger happy Crossing off names who crossed your line Like a 10 year old joke, y'all done lost your mind Some of you would do whatever to remove my voice If you do this, then you just done proved my point Who's wrong? Who's right to decide it? My heart, my mind won't silence You try, you fight, but I will survive Where do we go from here?

Mi casa es mi casa, tu casa is your shit I thought the saying is "Mi casa es tu casa?" No bitch I hope these jokers don't ask for jack cuz I'm a king here, go fish They always telling me don't trip, I got a short temper that grows quick Like holes in my pockets, my dime will drop it low right on the drop of a dime Cuz everything's top of the line, just like the dot on the "i" Don't let the comb over fool you, homie be poppin' the 9 You think it's just talk with this Glock that I got then go on and come walk cross that property line Don't try to wave howdy neighbor at us if busta's don't fuck with me Cuz you ain't got the heart for the cardio to run your damn mouth in front of me If they count on you, then their math's wrong, the fat lady sing a sad song And that's the song that we'll have on if we catch y'all on our grass lawn Cuz this is... Our House, in the middle of our street Our House, in the city filled with dreams Our House, we gon' get it with our team Our House Yeah Our House, in the middle of our street Our House, there's no getting in between Our House, climb the hill and you gon' see Our House Yeah You built the buildings, we built the strip, live on the edge cuz we built the cliff We built it with blood, sweat, tears, and bare hands with no Bob the Builder kits It's not about all the things it's built on, but it's about who you built it with And if they the type to go hard like the wet cement that y'all use the fill the bricks We low key, we done struttin', you must protect it if you love something If we invite you, it means we like you, so come on in but don't touch nothing It took too long to make roses grow from the concrete of these hard streets A steep cost just to be boss like starve yourself to see your dogs eat To hustle hard when you want sleep, in your own bed with some soft sheets But we grind like we cheat time as if we can short change a long week So keep out, no trespassing, beware my dogs got long heat I protect whats mine, so respect the line, so watch your step and where you walk please Cuz this is... Our House, in the middle of our street Our House, in the city filled with dreams Our House, we gon' get it with our team Our House Yeah Our House, in the middle of our street Our House, there's no getting in between Our House, climb the hill and you gon' see Our House Yeah
