I'm in to giving Individual respect
Whether you're into this or whether you're into that role
Believe what you believe in as long as you ain't an asshole
Cuz people talk and conviction is strong
Til they're confronted with facts and cant admit that they wrong
But they stick to your guns so respect is instantly gone
Cuz they listen to the beat but not to what I spit in a song
You ain't got the facts but try to act smarter
Now you looking like an ass and we laugh harder
So we can't hear what you saying, you breaking up like a bad partner
There's no baby around, it's just the bath water
For your kool aid and righteous intent
Its why you lost both your sight and you sense
Accelerating all the things that we tryna prevent
And lose the fight by turning into the monsters that you fighting against

Who's wrong? Who's right to decide it?

Everybody's arguing, itching to get it on
Cuz you cant live with certain opinions considered wrong
I might be showing my age, but back in my day people with different opinions could get along
At this point a civil discussion is past due
But it seems that civil discussions are taboo
Sticks and stones break bones but now words are loaded weapons
They'll jump the gun when they triggered by a loaded question
And try burning the bridge and knock it down
Over differences rather than build on common ground
Cancel culture mobs are formed from different victim rallies
Going from being triggered to trigger happy
Crossing off names who crossed your line
Like a 10 year old joke, y'all done lost your mind
Some of you would do whatever to remove my voice
If you do this, then you just done proved my point
